The Prism range of metric spacers and washers is extensive, and includes over 900 sizes! Standard components are moulded in nylon 6, a tough, durable polymer with good chemical resistance and a quality surface finish. Technical specification sheets are available on request for all the polymers used in house. Washers and spacers are offered in either natural or black, although other colours can be accommodated. A wide range of alternative materials, varying from a soft rubber to a reinforced nylon can be used to mould components for specific, demanding applications. Modifications to the physical parameters of a component, e.g. countersinks, chamfers or alternative O.D., I.D. or T/L can also be accommodated. We are able to offer a short lead time for any non-standard items, whether the change is in the colour, material or the parameters of the spacer/washer itself. Prism part numbers are a combination of the O.D.- I.D.- T/L, so that Part no. 15-6.3-15 is a spacer 15mm O.D. by 6.3mm I.D. and 15 mm L.
